Boutique Hotel Ontario: Hotel Ocho

A new boutique hotel is opening up in Ontario’s Chinatown, just north of Queen of Spadina. It’s called Hotel Ocho, and it’s also a restaurant and bar. It’s not a luxury hotel, but the owner calls it a “approachable boutique hotel”, and that’s in fact a pretty fitting choice of words (in a positive sense).

Now, it’s an loft-style building (a fusion of old-industrial and modern chic), but in the past it used to be the business premise of all kinds of industrial companies and warehouse at different times.

Apparantly, they have a nice lamb poutine for $13 that is well worth giving a try.

You can read more aobut it in this newspaper article or visit the official Hotel Ocho website.
